And you can revise the entire Group 1 for 4 to 5 times and with surety, you will be able to clear your Exams in this attempt.

How to make a proper study plan for CA Intermediate?

Assuming that the coaching for minimum 3 subjects have been completed and you’re ready good to go ahead.

Now first, you have to start with Accounts, as it’s one of the scoring subjects. Make a target to get full Marks in Accounts, Yes! Many of the students got 100 out of 100 or 90 and above in the last exam. So, your target should be the same.

How to study?

Start your revision with Accounts. Now, suppose there are 13 chapters in Accounts with 12 Accounting Standards. Start with making a list and marking all the questions. For example- your teacher has taught you 30 questions in chapter 1 and solved question no. 13 first, then 1, 5, 6 and so on. Solve each and every question thoroughly and mark them in that manner.

You should make a CONCEPT REGISTER for revision purpose. It’ll help you a lot. If you don’t study Accounts at all, then you can register for the Accounts Course. Now you can easily understand how much time is taken to complete one chapter.

How much time to devote to Self Study?

At this time, you should study for at least 6 to 8 hours daily.

Which time is better for studying?

If you wanna complete your study on a timely basis, start studying in the early morning. It's the best time for study. You can wake up at 3 am or 4 am or 5 am. It’s up to you. But wake up as early as you can and study consistently for 6-8 hours, now for the entire day, you’ll be free.

Target

Set a target to do a particular chapter within 2 or 3 days, it depends on the weightage of that chapter. First, make a proper plan for all the chapters. For example -

ChapterNo. of questionsDays to complete
1302
2151 (as there are less no. of questions)
3503
You’ve to make a complete target in this way. If you follow this strategy then easily you can complete Accounts.

To get rid of boredom, you can pick another subject also, like Law. Now study Law for only 2 hours and do a little number of section daily but go through it thoroughly.

You will be able to complete Accounts within 15 days with a good portion of Law covering 20-30% of the syllabus.

Framework

Once you’re done with Accounts, then start with Costing, after that Tax. Do Law at the last. 1st revision within 40 to 60 days, you should be done with your First revision plus Study plus making the concept register.

For the last 2 months, you can do 4 days revision, 2 days revision, 1-day revision, and last day before exam revision. In this way, your course will be revised for 4 to 5 times.

Important Point to remember :

One of the most important things is to do each and every question from ICAI Study Material. Mock Test Papers, Revision Test Papers, Suggested Answers should be done. And do 3 to 4 past years suggested answers and for Tax do only last year’s suggested answers as many amendments are introduced in Tax and also you can do the theory questions which are not amended.

It is the framework only. Make a proper study plan for CA Intermediate, implement it and you can surely clear your exams. Accounts is used as an example, do Costing in the same manner as described the Accounts study plan and then do Tax, at last, do Law.

But for perfect studies, you should give tests.
