ICAI Announcement: Uploading of XIIth Mark Sheet for Confirmation of Foundation Registration

On 6 August 2020 (Thursday), ICAI issued an announcement in relation to CA Foundation Registration.

Whom does this announcement concern?

This announcement concerns all the students who have just cleared their XIIth Standard examinations and have provisionally registered for the CA Foundation course.

What does the announcement say?

We are aware that students provisionally registered for the CA Foundation course are required to upload their original Class XIIth mark sheet for confirmation of CA Foundation Registration.

However, amid the ongoing pandemic, many students might not have received their original mark sheet yet.

In such a situation, ICAI says:

In case of non-receipt of Original Mark Sheet from CBSE/State Board/ Affiliated Board, students who have provisionally registered for the Foundation Course are required to:

• Get their Class XII mark sheet (downloaded from the CBSE/State Board website) attested from the Principal of their School having the name, the signature of the Principal, and Stamp of the School superimposed on it.

• Get their Class XII mark sheet (downloaded from the CBSE/State Board website) attested from a Chartered Accountant who is a member of the ICAI having the name, the signature of the Member along with his Membership number and his Stamp superimposed on it.
