For example, let's go back to our childhood when we used to play some sports like cricket, badminton, tennis etc in the morning. No one had to wake us up on those days because we were self-motivated. Because we wanted to get up early for the match. So try to make good reasons to wake up early. There are two types of reasons-

  • Short Term
  • Long Term

Short Term Reasons

For the short term, you should make a checklist before going to bed. In this checklist, you have to mention the tasks which you will complete in the next morning. You have to set your daily routine also like to brush your teeth, make coffee, go for a walk, do exercise etc.

Long Term Reasons

After the short term target, you should set a long term target which you want to achieve in the long run. You have to make a poster of your long term target and paste it in front of your bed. So that you always have an eye on it before going to and after getting up from the bed. So, set a target which ignites you to wake up early in the morning.

Adequate Sleep

Adequate sleep is an obvious and very important part of early rising. It is a good manner of sleep which signifies the proper amount of time required for a body to rejuvenate. According to some researches, it was found that sleeping for 5 to 9 hours is good for a body. But it varies from person to person. It is a personal thing to know about the hours your body needs to sleep to keep yourself productive. Some make themselves active and productive in 5 hours of sleep and on the other hand, some require 7 to 8 hours for the same. So it's very important to identify the comfortable figure between 5 to 9 hours and take the required amount of sleep.
