CA Result July 2021: How To Apply For Verification Of Marks & Inspection or Certified Copies?

Hi Guys! The results of the ICAI CA July 2021 exams are out and we hope you are satisfied with your results.

In case you are not satisfied with your results you can apply for verification for marks and can also apply for inspection or certified copies of answer books.

How To Apply For Verification Of Marks?

If students are not satisfied with their July 2021 exams result they can apply for verification of marks. Please note revaluation of the answer sheets is not permitted under the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

What Is Meant By Verification Of Marks?

The process of verification of marks includes the following:

• Checking whether any question or part thereof has remained unvalued and if so, evaluate the same and issue a revised statement of marks.
• Whether there is any totalling error in any question or total marks on the cover page.
• Whether there is any discrepancy between the marks for each question and or/part thereof and marks for each question indicated on the cover page of the answer book.

Procedure To Apply For Verification Of Marks?

A candidate can apply for verification, within a month from the date of declaration of results, giving specific details of the following and pay the applicable fees:

• Student Name
• Student Registration No
• Exam- Foundation / Intermediate (Old / New)/Final (Old / New)
• Month and year of the exam
• Roll No
• Paper(s)/subjects to be verified
• Address for communication
• Details of Bank Account

Applications for verification of marks will be rejected after the final date. Follow the below-mentioned steps while applying for verification:

• Login to https://icaiexam.icai.org/ using your Login ID & Password.
• From the dashboard click on the link to Apply for Verification of answer books.
• Upload the scanned signed copy of your handwritten request.
• Also, Mention these details in your handwritten request: Name, Registration Number, Exam, Month and Year of the exam, Paper/s subject/s details you want revaluation, Address for communication.
• Scan the application form as a jpg file with a size limit of 8-200 kb.
  
• Fill in all the required details and upload your handwritten request.
  
• You need to select subjects for verification while applying through the online portal. The subject you will select will be considered for verification, not the subjects you mentioned in your application form.
  
• The payment will be made online through Master/Visa/Maestro Credit/Debit Card.
• After successful payment, the payment confirmation screen will appear. Take a printout of it to keep a record.
• In the case of money deducted and transaction got failed your amount will be back in your account within 45 days after the closing of the window.
• The application will take around 1-2 months for processing. ICAI will revert you back about your request. You can also check the status of your request online on ICAI official exam website.
  

ICAI take 6-8 weeks to announce the Verification result. Students can check their July 2021 verification result online on http://icaiexam.icai.org.

What Is The Fee For Verification Of Marks?

Students have to pay Rs 100 for verification of 1 paper per subject & Rs 400/- for all the papers of a group/both groups.

How to Obtain Certified Marksheet For CA July 2021 Exams?

The students who are not satisfied with their CA July 2021 Exams result can apply for the Inspection of evaluated answer sheets online.

Students who have applied for the inspection don’t need to make a separate application for verification. Before providing certified copies/inspection of evaluated answer books to the examinees, verification of answer books is also carried out, by the office, suo motu.

Procedure To Apply For Inspection of Answer Sheets

• Go to https://icaiexam.icai.org.

• Log in through your User ID and password and click on "Apply Now" against the activity "Certified Copies/Inspection" from your dashboard.

• A data entry screen will appear. Fields relating to your name, registration number and medium of the examination would be displayed on the screen. You will have to enter the following data in the respective fields:

1. Select Certified Copies or Inspection
2. Select the papers for which you want Certified Copies or Inspection
3. Upload scanned copy of handwritten application duly signed containing all the relevant details like roll number, papers for which Inspection/Certified Copies are sought.

• If you had opted for Hindi medium in the examination, then the application must be in Hindi and if you appeared in the Exam in English then the application must be in English.
• Once you select “Save and Preview” on the said screen, a confirmation page with the details, name, registration number, roll no., address, mobile no. landline number, email address and papers selected etc will appear.
  
• Please check all the details entered by you including the scanned image uploaded.
  
• You have to confirm the data you have filled in, by clicking on the “CONFIRM” button.
  
• Once you confirm the data, you will be directed to the payment page where you can make the payment online through Net Banking or Credit / Debit Cards (Master / Visa / Maestro / Rupay / BHIM UPI).
  
• Once payment is successful, a payment confirmation page will appear on the screen with a remark "TRANSACTION SUCCESSFUL", against the transaction response.
  
• The application will be successful only when the Control Number is correctly appearing and that it is not null or zero.
  
• Take a printout of the payment confirmation page, which serves the purpose of acknowledgement from the Institute, and keep it safely for your reference.
